I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting obtained at the University of Salamanca (Spain). While I studied my degree I started providing translation services to different organizations, such as the Central Language Service of my university or the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). Besides, I had the chance to work as an interpreter in real situations, thanks to an internship which allowed me to provide simultaneous, consecutive and bilateral interpreting services at various events.
Once I finished my studies, I worked as a translator, proofreader and project manager at MondragonLingua, where I coordinated translation projects of the European Parliament and IBM, among others. I already have two years of experience as a freelance translator and interpreter, providing different linguistic services for international organizations, private companies, translation agencies and individuals.
All these experiences, together with my stays abroad, my passion for multilingual environments, languages and communication in general have given me a broad perspective and ability to adapt to different circumstances, which reflect positively on my work. I continue learning and training every day, improving knowledge of my working languages, in order to provide the highest quality services.
I have provided linguistic services for:
